Red Flags

Although most claims are legitimate, many are inflated or fraudulent and should be reviewed for possible fraud. While the appearance of one or more of these indicators does not mean fraud has been committed, IT DOES MEAN THAT THE CLAIM SHOULD BE CLOSELY REVIEWED.

  1. Attorney letter dated the day of the incident.
  2. New on the job.
  3. History of short-term employment.
  4. Accident occurs near the end of probationary period.
  5. Involved in seasonal louis vuitton replica handbags work that is about to end.
  6. Employee is disgruntled, soon to retire or facing imminent termination or layoff.
  7. Accident is unwitnessed.
  8. Incident not promptly reported to supervisor.
  9. Details of accident are vague.

  24. Plaintiff is well informed about workers’ compensation law.

  26. Plaintiff refuses to discuss past medical history.
  27. Plaintiff is personal friends with any of the witnesses.
